(#7684) Starshadow on "Split Ends": Hmmm...I don't think he looks angry, I think he looks...resolute? As if he's about to go to an important meeting or such, and is mentally preparing himself while his aide handles the physical preparations. I'm oddly reminded of the picture you did of Shame and his fathriked getting him ready for the Winter Tryst. This picture has a similar feel. (05/09/2008)
(#7683) Starshadow on "Garden Variety Dragons": Whyfor do they look so sad??? They make me want to cuddle them. And I think they are insect-eaters; a mouse would be a BIG meal for them. (05/09/2008)
(#7682) Starshadow on "The Artist": You'd need concentration, too - painting on fur would not be easy due to the tiny hairs! I love the little tongue poking out, and you've even placed the pinkie finger properly - when face/body painting, the pinkie often rests on the skin to help steady the hand. (05/09/2008)
(#7681) Starshadow on "Coy and Curls": "I'm really not in the mood"
"Are you sure?"
The hair of the one on the left has me thinking now that Jokka do have ways to purposely alter their hair. The smoothness near the roots, and then the extreme kinkiness and curl of the ringlets...perhaps the hair was braided while wet? Or some form of hot curling iron? (05/09/2008)
(#7680) Starshadow on "Young Angharad": I wonder if she gets back/shoulder aches or rib/neck problems, due to the way her body is constructed? It looks as though she's in the middle of the evolutionary switch of her race from quadruped to biped. (05/09/2008)
(#7679) Starshadow on "Star Embrace": A new way of decorating hair here - beads actually strung ON the hair, as opposed to being attached via some mysterious mechanism we've not seen. Do Jokka wish upon a star? (05/09/2008)
(#7677) Grey on "Hadara and the Sun King": The silver streaks in her hair are beautiful. And everything everybody else said. :) (05/09/2008)
(#7676) Starshadow on "Cherry Jokka": Ooo, periwinkle! The fruit turned out deliciously, especially the top two in the set of three. I wonder why the one is so grumpy looking? (05/09/2008)
(#7675) Starshadow on "Back to Space": To answer Ysabet's questions of long ago - humanity grew bored with the stars because they ceased to be unfathomable. They were no longer supernatural beings or gods. So now, we must find a curiosity of a different kind. I, too, am glad we've returned to space, and look forward to all of the new discoveries about our universe (and other universes, perhaps?). (05/09/2008)
